I love stars. Just looking up into the clear, night sky can bring a smile to my face because of its beauty. They’re such a beautiful part of God’s creation! I also enjoy looking at clouds and trying to make shapes out of them. You know, like looking at a cloud and saying, “That looks like a dog!” or, “I see a boat in that one!” These are all simple things, but beautiful ones. They are all made by God, the Creator of everything. He has given us so many pretty things to enjoy in this life. These are not the only amazing things of this world though. Let me tell you about God’s masterpiece…
I don’t know about you, but I’ve definitely struggled with looking in the mirror and thinking bad things about my appearance. It’s something I’m sure we all have done from time to time, but I’m here to tell you that whatever you look like, sound like, or anything else you don’t like about yourself, there is someone who loves you and who is proud of who He made. Have any guesses?? Of course, it’s God. I want to share with you a couple of examples. In the Bible, it tells us that we are “Fearfully and wonderfully made.”
“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.”
Psalm 139:14 NKJV
One of the definitions for wonderfully is, “Extremely well”. I think that can definitely go for us. God made us extremely well. He made us like no other thing on this earth. Another example is that of Genesis 1:27 where it says…
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

He made us in His own image. Isn’t that neat to think about? We have some of God’s qualities in us. If you don’t get anything else from this post, I want you to take these thoughts away from it…

- God LOVES YOU.
- YOU were MADE PERFECTLY.
- YOU were MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD.
- Our Savior DIED FOR YOU.
- YOU CAN do anything WITH GOD.
I know we oftentimes want to be “The beautiful one”, but beauty isn’t always what we look like. It is our good actions as well. It can be how we treat others or even how we treat ourselves. Take some time to check out the encouraging things the Bible has to say. God is the perfect one to go to when we’re struggling with something. Just remember, don’t ever think you aren’t worth anything or that no one loves you because that is simply not true. We are worth so much! YOU are worth so much. God loves you and so do many other people. YOU are God’s MASTERPIECE.
